Slow cooker kedgeree recipe

No, don't worry. You've not got a bad link. This great recipe is moments away, right here

I'm gradually transferring all my Blighty recipes to a new blog called The Errant Sock. As well as slow cooker recipes, you'll get lots of other conventional recipes with lots designed to avoid common allergens, plus crafts, reviews, parenting and home hacks, all with the same dash of realism and humour that you get here. So do take a look around and let me know what you think!

Hope to see you in a few seconds over on the Sock!

  1. A slow cooked recipe sounds brilliant, I love being able to put things in and forget about them then having something delicious at the end :) I cooked kedgeree last night but might have to try this recipe soon.

  5. I just made this and whilst it was delicious, I found there was too much liquid, and my rice was a soggy mess.... will try again using less. Thanks for the recipe :-)

  6. I'm so sorry, Kat. I think slow cookers are like ovens - you just have to get to know yours. You might also be using a slightly smaller one - this was made in a 4L cooker. And rice can also be variable. Better luck next time and glad you liked the flavour.
